Alex Oxford
I believe in the power of presence. As a ten-year brain cancer survivor, I’ve lived face-to-face with mortality, and that experience continues to shape the way I live, connect, and facilitate. It’s no coincidence that I bring a fierce, passionate aliveness into every Circling session, lighting up the room with an intensity that says, “We are alive—let’s make this moment count.” My profound (ir)reverence for impermanence fuels every moment I share, reminding me that our connections can transform us in the blink of an eye.
When you enter a Circle with me, you can expect an experience that’s engaging, playful, and never boring. Yet beneath that dynamism lies what I like to call “right thereness”—a felt sense of being fully together. People often remark on how present I am in the room, and I treasure creating a space where every participant feels genuinely seen and supported.
My guiding principle of warriorship, inspired by Chögyam Trungpa, means having a strong back and an open heart. I stand alongside each circlee and participant, no matter where the conversation goes. In this practice, I find echoes of my hundreds of ayahuasca experiences: an embrace of the unknown, a willingness to be changed, and an unwavering commitment to explore the depths of our shared humanity.
Beyond Circling, I draw on my experience as an accomplished entrepreneur, where creativity, resilience, and innovation are woven into everything I do. At my core, I believe Circling is not just about transformation, but about living more fully—moment by moment. I invite you to join me in this living, breathing experience, where we show up courageously, celebrate our individuality, and embrace the collective tapestry that binds us all. After all, just like life, the circle is a place where anything can happen—and it’s my honor to help make space for it all.
